Occupational Character Class - Men At Arms
1. Men of Arms are the combat specialists of the game. The include cyborgs, freelance warriors called Headhunters, the Coalition Army, the Glitterboy powered armor pilot (the Glitterboy named for its laser proof chrome alloy armor), the Cyber-Knight psychic warrior, the drug enhanced Juicer who will die in a few years as a side effect, and the Crazy who has microchips installed into their brains to force higher performance and psychic abilities at the expense of their sanity.
Combat Cyborg - Full Conversion
"The human mind given machine precision, steamroller strength and the firepower of an army company. That's how I see myself."
Combat Cyborgs are men and women who have been surgically augmented with bionics for the purpose of war. They are often soldiers, law enforcers or some other type of warrior (or desire to be one) before they submit to the full bionic conversion. "Borg" is the popular slang term for cyborgs, particularly full conversion cyborgs like the Combat 'Borg.
Not all individuals undergo the extreme full conversion process. Many undergo Partial Bionic Reconstruction, a process by which the arms, legs, hands and feet are completely removed, and replaced with mechanical limbs. The pelvis/hip area, shoulders, collarbone, and spine are all reinforced with metal rods and cybernetic implants to support the new bionic additions.
Humans, D-Bees, and other mortals only. Can not do any psionic or magical abilities.

Crazies
The warriors known as "Crazies" are a cross between ninja masters and raving lunatics. They are trained warriors schooled in the arts of combat and athletics. Then they are augmented through the implantation of tiny electromagnetic devices placed in the brain.
The original project was developed in South America where scientists were experimenting with new methods of curing mental disorders caused by physical damage, such as brain tumors and scar tissue. They discovered a way to artificially stimulate the brain to countermand certain mental disorders and brain damage. Again, nano-technology made it possible to implant tiny devices directly into the brain to control its electrical impulses. Soon they found that they could also influence the performance of the physical body by controlling the motor section of the brain, etc. Pain can be virtually ignored, the healing process can be accelerated, and the body made to perform at an incredible level of efficiency. The brain implants and neurological stimulation also provided the surprising bonus of instilling or bringing out minor psionic abilities in all subjects.
Suddenly, the priority of finding medical cures was thrown out the door in favor of the more lucrative and spectacular developments in human augmentation. The project was renamed M.O.M. Works (Mind Over Matter). The goal, as with the Juicer, was to create the super human, except instead of chemical enhancement, the brain is effectively rewired to respond in a particular way.
Surprisingly, this augmentation works better on humans than on animals or even mutant animals. Unfortunately, the M.O.M conversion has a tendency to wear out the human body. But the worst side effect is that the subject becomes increasingly psychologically and/or emotionally unbalanced, hence the name "Crazies" (these characters are sometimes referred to as "Mamma Boys," a slang term derived from the M.O.M. acronym).

Cyber-Knight
"It's all about hope and dreams and living well. Everyone has value, but I think people forget that one common truth. Life is hard, and it makes some people callous, dispassionate and cruel. I hope we can change that and remind people of their own strength and goodness."
Nobody knows exactly where they came from, how they came to be or why, but about 80 years before the end of the Dark Age, the Cyber-Knight emerged to battle monsters and tyrants. However, most educated and civilized people did not acknowledge the Knights even really existed until 18 P.A. This has led some D-Bees to believe the Cyber-Knights came into being to oppose the ever-growing and corrupt Coalition States. Other say that they came to fight injustice in all its forms and to combat the hordes of supernatural beings that terrorize the land. The truth is that they are the champions of all people, human and inhuman, who are oppressed, suffer from injustice or are tormented by evil, regardless of who or what may be the cause.
Any psionic, non supernatural race

Glitter Boy
"it's not about fame, power, or money. It's about generations of tradition and making a difference, helping people who need it. That's our destiny."
The Glitter Boy is both a relic of the past and symbol of power, hope, and courage.
Of all the Mega-Damage suits of power armor available on Rifts Earth, only the Glitter Boy is known to have originated from before the great Cataclysm and remains one of the most powerful, feared, and respected fighting machines on the planet.
Powerful, because of its heavy armor and laser resistance.
Feared, because of its Boom Gun and endurance.
Respected, because Glitter Boy armor was the weapon of the greatest heroes in North America throughout the Two Hundred Years Dark Age.

Juicers
History of the Juicer OCC.
Pre-Rifts Origins
The Juicers technology was originally created in Pre-Rifts Germany during the time of tension that preceded the Great Cataclysm by one of the pioneers of drug enhancement, Uberchem Incorporated. It was initially used only by third world dictators or madmen who don’t care about the lives of their troops. Overtime, the success of such augmented soldiers prompted more and more nations to maintain a small force of “volunteers” in secret for fear of scandal.
Information of the 100% mortality rate for the Juicer process in less than 8 years surfaced combined with recent incident regarding Mindwerks’ research (See Crazies), provoked massive public outrage against the horrors of human experimentation. Uberchem, along with other companies involve in such disastrous venture, went under overnight. It would have been the end of any further advancement of the Juicer research, if not for the U.S. Government and certain American corporations covertly acquiring many of the patents and researchers belonging to the projects.
The resurrection of the Juicers however, never materialize as civilization collapse on Earth with coming of the Rifts.
After the Great Cataclysm
During the “Dark Ages” that follow the Great Cataclysm, most technology was lost. Survivors did their best to salvage or rediscover as much knowledge as possible; weapons and armor were among the priorities as threats from the surrounding were the highest concerns.
Types of Juicers:
"Standard"/"Normal" Juicers, Anyone who underwent the full Juicer Procedure.
Euro-Juicers, Juicers in Europe & within the NGR or Non-Juicer who use the JAEP program.
Hyperion Juicers, a Juicer procedure that focus on high speed.
Titan Juicers, a Juicer procedure that induce subject with supernatural level strength.
Phaetons Juicers, variant created to be the ultimate combat pilot. (Avaliable in the Kingdom of Newtown & Fort El Dorado, pirated version avaliable in several cities & kingdoms in North America)
Mega-Juicers, the most advanced technological Juicer currently available that effectively turn the augmented subject into a minor supernatural creature. (Available only in Ishpeming & Kingsdale)
Coalition Juicers, Secret Coalition Juicer program that creates "standard" Juicers loyal to the Coalition States. (Coalition States Only)
Psycho-Stalkers, lethal combination of a Psi-Stalker with the full Juicer Procedure. (Coalition States Only)
Delphi Juicers, psionically-adept Juicers that combines incredible physical & mental powers (Available only in Ishpeming)
Ninja Juicers, dedicated assassin from ninja clans, raise in special training camps. (Available only in Japan)
Techno-Wizard & Magically Produce Juicers
Dragon Juicers, highly expensive & dangerous, this Juicer variation utilize the blood of unique magical properties of dragon blood to empowered the subject. (Only available in Federation of Magic & a specific Kingdale Shop that created the process)
Murder-Wraith, necromantic rather than alchemical, these sinister Undead monsters are worshippers of the embodiment of Death itself, with no shred of humanity.
Splugorth's Bio-Wizard Juicers, A.K.A. Maxi-Killer, copied from the technological procedure using Bio-Wizardry Treatment, the subject is enhanced by a new Juicer Symbiote known as the Maxi-Inducer. (Only in Atlantis & exported to other Splugorth Territories)

Headhunter
The term "Headhunter" has come to be the designation for most human mercenaries and bounty hunters.
A headhunter is a mercenary; a warrior-for-hire. However, a "true" headhunter is an expert in weapons and tracking. They are the die-hard men-of-arms who love the challenge of combat and the chance to cheat death. All they know is combat. They have fought all their lives and will die fighting. The headhunters credo is "Fight the good fight and die with the enemy's heart in your hand." A typical headhunter is armed to the teeth and complemented with cybernetics and/or bionics. Most of these mercenaries will accept any being, human or non-human, who demonstrates courage and the warrior spirit. Consequently, a group of headhunters is likely to be composed of a variety of humans, mutoids, aliens, dog boys, and even practitioners of magic. Although headhunters may allow men of magic to join their ranks, headhunters themselves seldom use magic or magic devices. The individual headhunter lives by his own code of ethics (determined by his/her alignment). The notoriously evil and self-serving (will work for anybody who is willing to pay the most) headhunters are the most talked about, but many headhunters are as noble and trustworthy as a cyber-knight. Most see themselves as freewheeling "ronin" samurai; nomadic warriors without any one master.
Headhunter Variations
Headhunter - Techno-Warrior, "Standard" archetype for Headhunters.
Headhunter - Assassins, killers for hire.
Headhunter - Anti-Robot Specialist, focus their mechanical skills to destroying robots & power armor.
Headhunter - Techno Hound, partial Cyborgs that love, hunts, collects, repairs & trade tech items.
Mormano Headhunter, headhunters that specialize in dealing with supernatural creatures.
